“Dialogos Iluminados entre obras y textiles” - Bogota
I’m pleased to announce that I’ve been invited to exhibit two of my paintings in the upcoming group show “Dialogos iluminados entre obras y textiles” (translated into English: “Illuminated dialogues between works and textiles”) at el Centro de la Felicidad, Calle 82 # 10-69, in Bogota, Colombia.
This is a group show consisting of 7 artists: Alejandra Guzman, Ana Tamayo, Maria Jose Matamala, Laura Mora, Mario Jaramillo and Patricia Araujo.

The opening will take place on Thursday, May 29th, at 10:00 a.m. This exhibit is open to the public daily and will run through June 2nd, 2025.
The gallery is located on the ground level, floor 1.
Viewing Hours & Schedule:
Thursday, May 29th: 10:00am -7:00pm
Friday, May 30th: 10:00am - 7:00pm
Saturday, May 31st: 10:00am - 5:00pm
Sunday, June 1st: 10:00am - 5:00pm
Monday, June 2nd: 10:00am-5:00pm
Also note: On Friday, May 30th, there will be a special bi-annual meeting of Bogota at the Centro de la Felicidad relating to the sector of Arts & Culture, starting at 10:00am.
El Centro de la Felicidad is a venue designed for recreation, sports, and culture, all in one. It is not only an architectural icon of the city, but also a place where citizens find a wide and varied offering for people of all ages. It is 10 floors tall with varied rooms for the arts, music making, concerts, library, swimming pool, etc. The building offers incredible panoramic views of the city of Bogota. It opened in October 2024, and it hosts weekly art exhibits.
The two paintings selected for this exhibit relate to the architecture of Bogota: “Avenida Jimenez” and “Una Ilusion”
